These animations were created using artwork photographed by volunteers of the project. The main goal was to give life to these pieces, transforming static images into something dynamic and real while preserving their authenticity.
I developed a series of animations for the Creative Encounters project in collaboration with Cambridge University.
The video explores the theme of women and work in India, blending traditional visual styles with contemporary motion design to create a narrative that is both culturally rooted and visually engaging.
My contribution involved translating illustrations into animated sequences, enhancing the storytelling with movement, rhythm, and visual symbolism. The goal was to give voice and visibility to women’s experiences through a medium that feels accessible and powerful.
The project was awarded Best Video of 2024, recognized for its creativity, cultural sensitivity, and impactful visual language.
